Description
Product Introduction
An impact tester is used to evaluate, under standardized conditions, the resistance of a dry film of paint, varnish, or related products to cracking or delamination upon impact by a weighted hammer. This method determines the coating’s impact resistance by measuring the energy required—in terms of kilogram‑meters (or inch‑pounds)—to induce cracking or delamination. The test procedure complies with various standards, including ISO 6272‑1 and ASTM D2794.
