Description
Product Introduction
The relative sag resistance of paint coatings is determined by applying, with a doctor blade, strip‑shaped wet films of varying thicknesses onto glass test panels. The panels are then immediately positioned vertically so that the film exhibits a “thinner at the top, thicker at the bottom” profile. After the coating has dried, its sag resistance is assessed and expressed as the maximum film thickness, in micrometers, at which no sagging occurs.
Technical specifications:
1. Dimensions of the flow‑hang tester scraper: 120 mm × 20 mm × 20 mm
2. The scraper can apply the test sample to form 10 parallel wet films of varying thicknesses, with a film width of 6 mm, a spacing of 1.5 mm between adjacent films, and a thickness difference of 25 μm between consecutive films.
3. A total of five specifications are available: 50–275 μm, 250–475 μm, 450–675 μm, 650–875 μm, and 850–1075 μm.
