Description
Product Introduction:
Building and thermal insulation materials are increasingly used in a wide range of engineering applications. These materials possess a suite of thermophysical properties, which frequently come into play during thermal‑engineering calculations. To ensure the accuracy and reliability of such analyses, it is essential to select appropriate thermophysical parameters that reflect the material’s actual service conditions; otherwise, even the most precise calculation formulas will yield results that diverge significantly from reality. The thermophysical properties of materials are influenced by numerous factors, including chemical composition, density, temperature, and moisture content. Among these, moisture exerts a particularly strong effect. In practical use, due to environmental conditions, construction‑related moisture, manufacturing processes, and operational circumstances, materials often contain a certain level of water, which can degrade their thermal insulation performance. Consequently, this factor must be accounted for in thermal‑engineering calculations. To this end, accurately determining the thermophysical properties of materials under wet conditions is indispensable.
Product Features:
The apparatus is simple, highly accurate, and capable of rapid testing (approximately ten minutes per run). In a single test, it can simultaneously determine the material’s thermal storage coefficient, thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, and specific heat, and it can measure thermophysical properties under various moisture contents.
Scope of application:
This instrument is suitable for determining the thermal conductivity, thermal storage coefficient, thermal diffusivity, and specific heat of homogeneous plate‑like, gel‑like, powdered, and granular materials under dry conditions or at various moisture contents. The thermal storage coefficient of the test material ranges from 0.1 to 30 W/m²·K, while the thermal conductivity ranges from 0.035 to 1.7 W/m·K.
