BS1363 Figure 19: Solid stainless steel fuse test probe; under normal conditions, the fuse socket is repeatedly inserted into and removed from the probe at a rate not exceeding ten cycles per minute, for a total of 20 cycles.

Then install a standard fuse that complies with BS 1362 and perform the corresponding mechanical strength tests.
