Product Overview:
The GEW‑B microcomputer‑controlled specialized machine for steel strand testing is driven by a hydraulic power unit and employs a measurement‑and‑control system for acquiring and processing test data. It comprises four main components: the testing frame, the oil source (hydraulic power unit), the measurement‑and‑control system, and the testing fixtures. Its maximum test force is 600 kN, with a testing accuracy better than Class 1; a Class 0.5 option is also available upon request.
The GEW‑B microcomputer‑controlled steel strand tensile testing machine meets the standard test requirements specified for steel strand tensile tests and can determine key material properties such as tensile strength and elastic modulus. This six‑column, dual‑space design features a tensioning space between the upper and lower crossbeams and a compression space between the lower crossbeam and the test table; the test space is automatically adjusted by driving the lower crossbeam up and down via sprockets and a leadscrew. Hydraulic‑controlled gripping jaws are mounted on both the upper and lower crossbeams; the standard model is equipped with dedicated steel‑strand grips for tensile testing of steel strands. At the bottom of the lower crossbeam, an upper pressure plate is provided, while the test table is fitted with a lower pressure plate featuring a spherical bearing, enabling direct compression testing. The testing machine and its accessories comply with the requirements of GB/T 228, GB/T 2611, and GB/T 3159.
