Description


Product Introduction:

This thickness gauge is suitable for determining the thickness of plastic films and sheets using the mechanical measurement method (it is not applicable to embossed films and sheets). This instrument complies with the GB/T 6672-2001 standard.

Technical Specifications:

1. Graduation value: 0.001 mm

2. When the upper and lower measuring surfaces are planar, the load applied by the measuring surfaces to the specimen shall be between 0.5 N and 1 N for a range of 0–1 mm.

3. When the upper and lower measuring surfaces are convex or flat, and the radius of curvature of the upper measuring surface is between 15 and 50 mm, the load applied by the measuring surface to the specimen shall be in the range of 0.1 N to 0.5 N.

4. Measurement Accuracy

Accuracy within 100 μm, with a precision of 1 μm.

100 μm to 250 μm, accuracy of 2 μm

Accuracy of 3 μm for features larger than 250 μm

Instructions for use:

1. Before testing, rotate the dial to set the pointer at zero, and operate the plunger several times; only proceed with the test after the pointer has returned to zero.

2. To use, press the handle to raise the probe, place the object to be measured between the upper and lower probes, gently release the handle to make contact, and the reading displayed will be the thickness of the sample being tested.

3. To ensure measurement accuracy, take readings at different locations on the same test object and calculate their average.

4. After use, wipe the instrument clean, place it in its case, and store it in a dry location to prevent moisture damage.
