The Brookfield rotational viscometer (high-temperature viscometer) features a coaxial concentric‑cylinder design, requiring only 8–13 mL of sample and delivering rapid temperature control.

Precision. The full-scale range and linearity across all ranges are calibrated via the PC interface using standard samples of varying viscosities, ensuring the instrument delivers exceptional accuracy and repeatability. It offers a broad measurement range, making it suitable for testing a variety of materials. It complies with the new standard JT/G3410-2025, “Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures for Highway Engineering.”

“Mix Proportion Test Procedure”

Key features:

1. Measurement data is displayed directly on the LCD screen, eliminating the need for secondary calculations, and supports switching between Chinese and English display modes.

2. Employs microcomputer drive technology and imported stepper motors, delivering precise, smooth, and reliable rotational speed control.

3. Utilizes switch-mode power supply technology, offering a wide voltage and frequency range; power supply fluctuations do not affect measurement accuracy.

4. The viscosity display resolution is accurate to 0.1% of the full scale.

5. It features timed measurement, making it highly practical for testing non-Newtonian fluids.

6. A temperature probe is available for real-time measurement of the sample’s temperature.

7. Equipped with an automatic scanning function, the instrument can automatically recommend an appropriate combination of rotor and rotational speed.

8. It can automatically display the maximum viscosity range measurable by the selected combination.

9. Equipped with a printer interface, it can be directly connected to a microprinter to print various types of data.

10. Supports display of multiple unit conversions: viscosity in Pa·s, mPa·s, cP; temperature in °C/°F.

11. Supports three measurement termination conditions: time, temperature, and torque, meeting the diverse requirements of different customers.

12. Supports 37-step stepless speed adjustment, enhancing test accuracy.

13. Temperature control range: Room temperature + 10°C to 260°C (optional 300°C heating furnace available)
