Product Introduction

This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in T0621‑2025, “Standard Viscosity Test for Asphalt (Road Asphalt Standard Viscometer Method),” as outlined in the People’s Republic of China industry standard JTG 3410‑2025, “Test Procedures for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering.” It is suitable for determining the viscosity of liquid petroleum asphalt, coal tar asphalt, emulsified asphalt, and similar materials under flow conditions, using the method prescribed in T0621‑2025. This instrument is also applicable to measuring the kinematic viscosity of viscous petroleum asphalt by means of a vacuum‑reduced capillary viscometer; unless otherwise specified, the test temperature is 60°C and the vacuum level is −40 kPa ± 0.066 kPa. Furthermore, this instrument can be used for other substances whose viscosity falls within the range of 0.0036 to 20.000 Pa·s, employing the vacuum capillary method at a test temperature of 60°C and a vacuum level of −40 kPa (300 mmHg).
