Description
Product Introduction:
The household ceramic impact tester is used for impact testing at the center of flat tableware and concave vessels, as well as for impact testing along the edges of concave vessels. For edge‑breakage testing on flat tableware, specimens may be glazed or unglazed. The central‑impact test is designed to measure: 1) the energy of a single strike required to initiate a crack; and 2) the energy needed to cause complete fracture. Reference standards include GB/T 4742, “Method for Determining Impact Toughness of Household Ceramics”; QB/T 1993, “Test Method for Impact Resistance of Ceramic Ware”; and ASTM C 368, “Standard Test Method for Impact Resistance of Ceramic Ware.”
