Description
Product Introduction:
It is suitable for testing the heat-seal strength and seal integrity of various packaging bags and containers. By measuring the material’s heat-seal strength and seal integrity, it enables control and adjustment of key production‑process parameters—such as bag opening characteristics and packaging‑machine speed—thereby ensuring compliance with product‑use requirements.
Reference standard:
GB 10440, GB 18454, GB 19741, GB 17447, ASTM F1140, ASTM F2054, ISO 11607-1, ISO 11607-2, GB/T 17876, GB/T 10004, GB/T 10005, GB/T 17590, BB/T 0003, BB/T 0025, QB/T 1871, YY/T0681, YBB00252005, YBB00162002
Test principle:
- Leak Test: After reaching the set pressure, maintain that pressure without replenishing it. If the pressure drop during the hold period exceeds the specified threshold, the sample is deemed non‑conforming; if the pressure drop remains within the threshold, the sample is deemed conforming.
- Burst test: Once the pressure reaches the threshold, the burst‑detection phase begins; the test stops when the pressure drops to within a specified percentage of the maximum pressure, at which point the system automatically releases the air. During this process, the screen displays the recorded maximum pressure value. Pressure is regulated via the pressure‑adjustment valve on the side of the device; it is recommended to increase the pressure gradually to prevent rapid pressurization, which could lead to uneven pressure distribution between the sensor and the sample interior and introduce measurement errors.
- Pressure Holding/Creep: Once the set pressure is reached, pressure holding begins. During the holding phase, if the pressure drops to (1 − accuracy%) of the set value, a pressure‑boosting step is performed to maintain the target pressure. If, during the holding phase, the pressure drop reaches the predefined threshold, the specimen is deemed to have ruptured, the test is terminated, and the specimen is classified as non‑conforming.
- Creep to burst: After reaching the set pressure, maintain constant pressure. During the hold phase, if the pressure drops to (1 − accuracy%) of the set value, apply a compensating pressure to sustain the target level. If the pressure decline during the hold phase reaches the predefined threshold, the test is deemed to have reached the sample’s burst point; pressure holding is then discontinued, timing stops, and the timer is not reset.
- Large‑scale leakage: Use a dedicated clamping fixture to press the bag underwater, inflate the test bag to a specified pressure, and visually inspect for leaks. The test duration is manually controlled and can be stopped by pressing the stop button.
Product Features:
