Product Introduction:

The test method involves mounting the specimen on a rotating spindle, with a pair of abrasive wheels pressed against it under a specified load. As the specimen rotates, it drives the abrasive wheels, causing wear; the weight loss due to abrasion is determined as the difference between the specimen’s weight before and after the test. This method complies with JCT 985-2005 “Cementitious Self-Leveling Mortar for Flooring” and is suitable for evaluating the abrasion resistance of cement-based self-leveling mortars used in flooring applications. It also meets the requirements of standards such as DIN 53754, 53799, 53109, 52347, TAPPI T476, ASTM D3884, and D1175.

Operating Instructions

Test Preparation:

1. Secure the test specimen on the test turntable, select the required test code and install it, and ensure that the abrasive grinding wheel does not come into contact with the specimen fixture during testing.

2. After setting the number of test cycles according to the test requirements, the entire system enters the testing state.

Operating Procedures:

1. Connect to the appropriate power supply of 220V or 110V as indicated.

2. Manually rotate the test disc to ensure that the grinding wheel does not come into contact with the fixture during testing.

3. Turn on the power and perform a preliminary test run; if no abnormalities are detected, turn off the power.

4. Press the reset button to zero the counter. Set the number of test cycles as required; the counter can be set up to a maximum of 93,999.

5. Press the start button, and the entire machine will enter the test mode.

6. Turn on the vacuum cleaner’s power switch to start it.

7. After the test reaches the preset count, the machine automatically shuts down and enters standby mode.

8. Turn off the power, remove the test specimen, and clean the equipment.
