Fixture for the three-point bending test apparatus of the LBTC-260 sandwich structure

Product Introduction:

The three-point bending test apparatus for sandwich structures is designed and developed in accordance with GB/T 1456, “Test Method for Flexural Properties of Sandwich Structures.” This standard applies to the determination of the stress in the face sheets and the shear stress in the core under flexural loading, as well as the flexural and shear stiffnesses of the sandwich structure, the elastic modulus of the face sheets, and the shear modulus of the core. It is also suitable for measuring the adhesive strength between the face sheet and the core. By conducting three-point bending tests on long‑beam specimens of sandwich structures, the flexural strength of the face sheets is determined; by performing three-point bending tests on short‑beam specimens, the shear strength of the core is evaluated; and by using extended‑beam three-point bending tests on long‑beam specimens, the flexural and shear stiffnesses are measured, thereby enabling the calculation of the elastic modulus of the face sheets and the shear modulus of the core.
