Product Introduction
For any given object, there exists an inherent resonant frequency. When the object’s volume and material are fixed, its resonant frequency depends solely on its density. Since an object’s strength is related to its density, its natural vibration frequency thereby determines its mechanical strength. If the object’s resonant frequency can be measured, its strength can be estimated using strength‑theory principles. A dynamic vibrometer is an instrument used to measure an object’s resonant frequency and is widely employed in metallurgy, construction, bridge engineering, hydropower, and other fields for determining the elastic modulus of concrete, carbon materials, slate, glass, brick, plastics, and metallic alloys.
