Description
Product Introduction
The KDR‑V9 concrete rapid freeze–thaw testing machine employs the water‑freeze/water‑thaw method and is designed to conduct freeze–thaw resistance tests on concrete specimens measuring 100 × 100 × 400 mm. It can accommodate nine sets of specimens (28 pieces, including one central specimen) in a single run. During testing, the specimens are placed inside rubber sleeves filled with water, which are then positioned within a specimen chamber containing antifreeze solution. The unit’s refrigeration or heating system controls the temperature of the antifreeze, causing the specimens in the rubber sleeves to freeze and thaw, thereby completing the freeze–thaw cycle.
The equipment operates fully automatically throughout the entire cycle, requiring no manual intervention. Once the test reaches the preset number of cycles (default: 50), it shuts down automatically and emits an audible signal to indicate completion. If further testing is desired, the cycle count can be incremented and the operation resumed. The freeze–thaw cycle lasts 2.5 to 4 hours, with a thawing period of at least one quarter of the cycle. At the end of the freezing phase, the specimen’s core temperature is –18 ± 2°C; at the end of the thawing phase, the core temperature is 5 ± 2°C. The cooling period is 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and the heating period is 1.0 to 1.5 hours. The temperature difference between the specimen’s core and surface must be less than 28°C. The standard for the number of cycles is more than 300.
Implementation Standard:
GB/T 50081 “Standard for Test Methods of Mechanical Properties of Ordinary Concrete”
GB/T 50082 “Standard for Test Methods of Long-Term Performance and Durability of Ordinary Concrete”
JGJ 55 “Code for Mix Proportion Design of Ordinary Concrete”
JTJ053 “Test Procedures for Cement Concrete in Highway Engineering”
JTGE30 “Test Procedures for Cement and Cement Concrete in Highway Engineering”
National Electric Power Industry Standard DL/T 5150, “Test Procedures for Hydraulic Concrete”
SL352 “Test Procedures for Hydraulic Concrete”
JG/243 “Equipment for Concrete Freeze–Thaw Testing”
JGJ/T 193 “Standard for Inspection and Evaluation of Concrete Durability”
ASTM/C666, “Standard Test Method for Rapid Freeze–Thaw Resistance of Concrete”
Features:
1. The compressor has a low power rating and uses an imported 5‑HP refrigeration unit. Whether installed indoors or outdoors, it operates quietly.
2. Heating is achieved without heating tubes, resulting in lower power consumption. Prolonged immersion of heating tubes in antifreeze can lead to electrical conductivity and other issues, thereby reducing the heater’s service life.
3. Split-type unit, low noise.
4. Environmentally friendly: low noise and energy-efficient. Compact design saves space.
5. Microcomputer control function. (The KDR-V9A concrete rapid freeze–thaw testing machine features a touch screen.)
