Product Introduction

The concrete resistivity meter, also known as a potential‑measuring instrument (corrosion analyzer), is used to assess the corrosion of reinforcing steel in concrete. Corrosion is an electrochemical process that generates current, leading to metal dissolution. The lower the concrete’s resistivity, the easier it is for corrosion currents to pass through, and the greater the likelihood of corrosion. Therefore, measuring concrete resistivity provides an effective means of evaluating its corrosion resistance and assessing the extent of existing reinforcement corrosion.
Product Overview: The DZL-4000 portable resistivity meter detects rebar corrosion by measuring the electrical resistivity of concrete surfaces. This device utilizes a Wenner‑array electrode with a standard spacing of 50 mm. It is powered by five AA batteries and offers up to 12 hours of continuous operation under ideal conditions.
