Structure and Working Principle of the Concrete Accelerated Steam Curing Chamber:
1. The concrete accelerated steam curing chamber consists of a curing section and a control cabinet.
a) The curing chamber consists of a lid, an outer shell, a stainless-steel inner liner, and supporting feet. The space between the outer shell and the inner liner is filled with high-efficiency insulation panels to provide thermal insulation. At the bottom, several channel steels support the full load of the test specimens. A water-sealing groove is provided around the perimeter of the chamber’s upper rim, and two immersion-type heating elements—each rated at 3 kW, for a total of 6 kW—are installed inside the inner liner. Drain and fill ports are located at the base of the inner liner.
b) The control cabinet is equipped with a complete set of control instruments, electrical components, and wiring terminals for all heating elements.
Instructions for use:
1. Water Filling: The curing box is equipped with a water inlet on its side, featuring a 6‑mm aluminum‑plastic pipe connector. Fill the box with water until the level reaches 250 mm from the bottom; the filling process will stop automatically. Then, close the box lid.
2. Heating: On the temperature controller, set the desired curing water temperature, then turn on the power switch. The curing water will begin to heat at a rate of 20°C per hour. If rapid heating is required, activate one set of both internal and external heaters, increasing the heating rate to 40°C per hour. Once the curing chamber transitions from the heating phase to the保温 (holding) phase, the instrument will automatically take over control.
3. Heat Preservation: On the control panel, set the desired heat‑preservation time on the timer; the system will then enter the heat‑preservation mode. Once the set time has elapsed, the instrument automatically shuts off the power.
Precautions:
1. After use, the curing chamber must be disconnected from the power supply to prevent the heating elements from remaining inadvertently in the heated state, which could lead to dehydration and equipment damage.
2. When the curing box is not used for an extended period, drain all the water, wipe it dry, and store it in a well-ventilated, dry location.
