Description
Product Introduction:
- The fully automatic high-strength bolt tester is an intelligent testing device that integrates automated inspection, data processing, display, and printing. Equipped with high-precision sensors and an advanced measurement‑control system, it can automatically measure critical parameters such as axial force and torque in bolted connections, while displaying and printing the results in real time. Featuring high efficiency, accuracy, and stability, this instrument significantly enhances both the speed and quality of bolt‑connection inspections. Designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of GB 1231‑2024 “High‑Strength Large Hexagon Bolt Assemblies for Steel Structures” and GB 50205‑2020 “Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Steel Structures,” the tester is capable of measuring, displaying, and printing axial force and torque (or torque coefficient) for large hexagon‑head high‑strength bolt assemblies (M12, M16, M20, M22, M24, M27, M30, M33, M36) as well as for torsion‑shear type high‑strength bolt assemblies (M16, M20, M22, M24, M27, M30). Torsion‑shear bolts must be tested using a dedicated torsion‑shear wrench. The device also enables automated tightening, loosening, and resetting of high‑strength bolts, offering a high degree of automation and convenient, rapid operation. Its touchscreen interface displays parameters such as axial force, torque, and torque coefficient, and automatically calculates and outputs standard deviation and coefficient of variation. With built-in data storage and retrieval capabilities, the control unit includes an integrated printer for on‑demand output. An optional electric torsion‑shear wrench is available for bolts ranging from M30/M27 to M24/M22/M20/M16.
Working principle:
The operating principle of the fully automatic high-strength bolt tester is primarily based on sensor technology and a measurement‑control system. When the instrument is connected in series with the bolt‑joint assembly, the sensor can continuously monitor parameters such as axial force and torque. The sensor converts the detected signals into electrical signals and transmits them to the measurement‑control system for processing. The system amplifies, filters, and digitizes these signals, yielding precise test data. Automatic Testing: The fully automatic high‑strength bolt tester can autonomously measure axial force, torque, and other parameters of bolted joints. During testing, the instrument automatically identifies the bolt’s specifications and type and adjusts itself according to preset parameters.
Product Features:
Efficiency: The fully automatic high-strength bolt tester employs an automated control system, eliminating the need for manual intervention during the testing process and significantly enhancing testing efficiency. Moreover, the instrument features rapid response and high-speed data processing, enabling it to complete the inspection of a large number of bolted connections in a short period of time.
Accuracy: The instrument employs high-precision sensors and advanced measurement‑control technology, enabling precise measurement of axial force, torque, and other parameters in bolted joints. Its test results are highly accurate and reliably robust, meeting the demands of even the most complex engineering applications.
Stability: The fully automatic high-strength bolt tester is manufactured using premium materials and advanced processes, featuring a compact structure and a well‑thought‑out design. Throughout extended operation, it maintains consistent performance and accuracy, ensuring the reliability and precision of test results.
Ease of Operation: The instrument features a simple and intuitive user interface, making it easy for users to get started. Additionally, it supports multiple operating modes and language options, allowing users to configure and customize settings according to their specific needs.

Instructions for Use
After the startup screen appears, tap to enter the test:
After the startup screen appears, tap to enter the main interface and proceed directly to the test; the following screen will be displayed:
Select or enter the test parameters according to the specific test requirements.
Numbers: 1 to 50;
Pattern: Large Hexagon;
Grade: 8.8s or 10.9s;
Range: 3000; Specifications: M16 to M30, with length specified according to the actual bolt length.
Fixed value: default value or enter a new value;
μ : mean;
σ : standard deviation;
CV: coefficient of variation;
After proper installation, perform the clearance force 1 and clearance force 2 tests. At the start of the test, the motor will rotate; when the axial force reaches the specified standard value, the device’s display will automatically pop up a window. Follow the on-screen prompts to select “Next,” after which the system will automatically unload the load, completing one set of bolt tests. Repeat this procedure for all eight bolt‑nut assemblies. Once testing is finished, the device will automatically calculate and display key parameters, including the average axial force, average torque, average torque coefficient, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation for each of the eight sets. If printing is required, press the print button to generate a printed report of the test results.
Note: Users requiring tests for torsional-shear high-strength bolts must order a dedicated torsional-shear wrench separately.
