Product Introduction:
The HBS‑3000 digital Brinell hardness tester features a software system based on intelligent computer programming and photoelectric sensing technology. It allows users to independently select test parameters and displays, on an LCD screen, the testing method, upper and lower limit ranges, indenter diameter, hardness values, converted values, test force, dwell time, and number of measurements. Users can also enter the year, month, and date, view test results, and perform data processing. Measurement data can be printed via the built-in printer or transmitted to a computer through a data interface. The optical system employs high‑magnification LED illumination for clear imaging with adjustable brightness, minimizing operator fatigue during extended use. The hardware incorporates advanced electronic sensor‑based loading technology, utilizing a closed-loop control system in which the CPU manages sensor signal acquisition and a stepper motor automatically applies and releases the test force, while providing automatic force compensation to ensure greater accuracy and more stable readings. An emergency stop device is also included, offering user‑friendly operation and enhanced reliability and stability.
Main uses and scope of application:
1. Suitable for hardness testing of metallic materials with coarse grains, it can reflect the material’s overall performance.
2. Cast iron, steel, and nonferrous metals, especially softer metals such as pure aluminum, lead, and tin.
3. It can be used for hardness testing of certain non-metallic materials, such as rigid plastics and bakelite.
