Product Introduction:
The device for determining the static bending strength and modulus of elasticity of plywood (four-point bending) is manufactured in accordance with GB/T 17657, “Test Methods for Physical and Mechanical Properties of Wood-Based Panels and Veneered Wood-Based Panels.” In the four-point bending test, the static bending strength and modulus of elasticity are determined by applying equal loads at points one-third of the span from each support on a specimen supported at two points. The static bending strength is defined as the ratio of the bending moment to the section modulus of the specimen under load; the modulus of elasticity is defined as the ratio of stress to strain within the material’s elastic limit.
