The LBTP-1A touch-screen automatic metallographic sample grinding and polishing machine is a single‑disc, fully automated unit that integrates preliminary grinding, fine grinding, and polishing. It employs microcontroller technology with touch‑screen control; the grinding/polishing disc is driven by a brushless DC motor via a V‑belt, while the grinding head is powered by a stepper motor with synchronous belt drive, ensuring smooth rotation, low noise, and long service life. Users can independently adjust the rotational speeds of both the grinding head and the disc, set the applied pressure, and program the sample preparation time to meet diverse requirements. The machine features a built-in illumination system for convenient sample handling and an integrated cooling unit that cools samples during grinding, preventing overheating and preserving the metallographic structure. It is an ideal choice for metallographic sample preparation in industrial facilities, research institutions, and university laboratories.

Automatic start-up function: After placing the sample on the holder, click “Start,” and the indenter will automatically descend; the grinding head and grinding disc will begin operating, the water tap will automatically dispense water, and once grinding and polishing are complete, the water tap will automatically shut off.

7. Built-in nozzle with an integrated dirt collection tray for automatic cleaning.
8. Supports stepless speed control or four-speed adjustment modes, making speed regulation more convenient.
9. The grinding head features electromagnetic clutch‑based automatic locking for convenient and quick operation. (Optional.)
10. Supports both independent and coordinated start-up of the grinding/polishing disc and the grinding/polishing head, offering greater flexibility in operation.
11. It can store more than ten sets of grinding and polishing process parameters, enabling quick retrieval.
