Product Introduction:

The LBT-3 automatic metallographic sample grinding and polishing machine is a single-disc benchtop unit. It is a next-generation, high-precision grinding and polishing system with automated sample preparation, manufactured in accordance with international standards and employing state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies.

  This machine employs an advanced microprocessor‑based control system, enabling stepless adjustment of the grinding and polishing disc and head speeds, as well as intuitive and convenient settings for sample preparation pressure and duration. Operators can complete grinding and polishing simply by changing the grinding/polishing disc or the metallographic sandpaper and polishing cloth, thereby enhancing the instrument’s versatility. The unit features freely selectable rotation directions for the grinding/polishing disc, rapid disc replacement, a multi‑sample holder with pneumatic single‑point loading, and automated abrasive delivery (with an optional dispenser). Additionally, it offers smooth operation, high safety and reliability, low noise levels, and a cast‑aluminum base that further improves the rigidity of the grinding and polishing process.

  This machine is equipped with a water‑cooling system and abrasive‑flushing nozzles, enabling sample cooling during grinding to prevent overheating that could distort the metallographic structure, while simultaneously flushing away abrasive particles. Paired with an ABS housing and stainless‑steel standard components, it boasts a sleek, elegant appearance, enhanced corrosion and rust resistance, and easy cleaning.

  The automatic grinding and polishing machine is designed for automated sample preparation, covering the entire workflow from coarse grinding and fine grinding to coarse polishing and fine polishing of metallographic specimens.
