A conventional apparatus suitable for preparing sandy soils and relatively permeable cohesive soils to a saturated state. It complies with the standard GB/T 50123, “Standard for Geotechnical Test Methods,” and the “Highway Geotechnical Test Procedures,” JTG E40.
