It is suitable for design of earthwork compaction in highway, railway, water conservancy, and construction foundation projects. Using the standard Proctor compaction method under specified compaction energy, it determines the relationship between soil moisture content and dry density, thereby identifying the optimum moisture content and the corresponding maximum dry density. This enables assessment of soil compaction performance and serves as a basis for controlling compaction of subgrade materials on site. Its structural characteristics fully comply with the specimen preparation requirements for compaction tests in the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) and resilient modulus tests. It can produce specimens of lime‑stabilized soil and granular materials in diameters of Φ152 mm and Φ100 mm, offering both light‑weight and heavy‑weight compaction modes. The control system features an electronic display counter, enabling automatic counting, automatic shutdown, and automated cyclic operation during testing. The instrument is reliable, easy to operate, delivers uniformly distributed hammer impacts, and produces high‑quality test specimens. It is ideal for both laboratory and field geotechnical testing.
