Description

Product Introduction

This instrument is used to determine the shear strength of soil. By testing four specimens under different vertical stresses and applying horizontal shear forces, the shear stress at failure is measured. The soil’s shear strength parameters—angle of internal friction and cohesion—are then calculated in accordance with Coulomb’s law.
