Product Introduction

The geotechnical double-ring permeability test apparatus is suitable for determining the coefficient of permeability of non-cohesive soil layers, such as sands and sandy gravels, located above the groundwater table. This device maintains a constant head and infuses water into the test pit, measuring the volume of water that percolates through the soil to calculate the soil’s permeability coefficient—a type of in-situ testing method. For single-ring infiltration tests, the apparatus can be operated by retaining only one flow bottle and one metal ring.
