It is used to determine the liquid limit of soil by the cone penetrometer method, in compliance with the standard requirements of TB 10102-2023 “Code for Geotechnical Testing of Railway Engineering,” TB/T 2140.2-2018 “Railway Ballast—Part 2: Test Methods,” GB/T 50123-2019 “Standard for Geotechnical Test Methods,” and JTG 3430-2020 “Code for Geotechnical Testing of Highway Engineering.”
