Description
Product Introduction:
A digital dial indicator is a high-precision measuring instrument that, compared with traditional mechanical dial indicators, offers key advantages such as intuitive readings, stable accuracy, and convenient operation. It is designed to operate reliably in standard ambient conditions ranging from 0 to 40°C, making it well suited to meet a wide range of precision dimension‑measurement needs. With a resolution as fine as 0.001 mm, the device features an aluminum housing that is lightweight, wear‑resistant, and durable. It can accurately detect even the slightest dimensional variations in workpieces, combining practicality with reliability to enhance measurement efficiency and data accuracy while minimizing human‑induced reading errors.
Product Applications:
Digital dial indicators are primarily used in industries and applications that demand high dimensional accuracy. Their key application areas include the machining industry—where they are employed for in-process dimension inspection and final‑part precision verification, such as measuring critical features like internal bores, shafts, and flat surfaces—the automotive manufacturing sector—where they ensure the dimensional compliance of precision components like engine parts and chassis assemblies—the precision instrumentation field—where they facilitate fine‑tuning of dimensions during instrument assembly and maintenance—and the electronics manufacturing industry—where they are used for dimension measurement and screening of small electronic components. They are also suitable for scientific research, quality‑control testing, and other related fields.
Product Features:
1. Zeroing at any position (ON/O)
2. Conversion between metric and imperial units (mm/in)
3. During measurement, press the M key to enter HOLD mode; the display will retain the current measured value.
4. Record the maximum value (MAX) during continuous measurement.
5. Record the minimum value (MIN) during continuous measurement.
6. Record the difference (△ = MAX − MIN) between the maximum value (MAX) and the minimum value (MIN) during continuous measurements. This is used for measuring flatness and coaxiality.
7. During measurement, the system automatically determines whether the workpiece is within tolerance (TOL) based on the configured upper and lower limit dimensions, eliminating reliance on the operator’s memory.
8. The data read from the absolute (ABS) scale represent the actual dimensions of the workpiece.
9. Data read from a relative measurement (REL) scale do not represent the actual dimensions of the workpiece; they are merely relative values.
10. Measurement data can be transmitted via the data acquisition system (DATA).
11. Both the USB cable connector and the battery cover are secured with screws, ensuring a more reliable connection.
12. The digital display can be rotated 300 degrees for easy reading.
