It is used to determine the degree of yarn crimp and to evaluate the relationship between fabric length and the length of yarns within the fabric by measuring the fabric’s shrinkage rate.

The yarn straightening device features two chucks with an adjustable spacing, enabling it to apply the required tension to the yarn.
