Description
Product Introduction
It is suitable for impact toughness testing of various non-metallic materials, accommodating both machined and injection-molded specimens, and applicable to both notched and unnotched samples. The digital display cantilever beam impact testing machine complies with national and international standards and is ideal for assessing the impact toughness of hard plastics, fiber-reinforced composites, nylon, fiberglass, ceramics, cast stone, asbestos boards, electrical insulating materials, and other non-metallic substances. It supports both machined and injection-molded specimens, as well as notched and unnotched samples. This equipment is an ideal choice for the chemical industry, research institutions, colleges and universities, and quality‑inspection departments. Developed as an improved version of the pointer‑dial simply supported beam impact tester, it employs a high‑precision rotary encoder to capture the pendulum’s swing angle and velocity, enabling calculation of the specimen’s impact strength based on the pendulum’s energy.
This instrument employs an embedded system for intelligent control and data storage, with an LCD display and matrix keypad used to configure the test procedure and present the results, thereby replacing the conventional dial‑and‑pointer display. Compared with traditional analog dials, it offers higher angular resolution—up to 0.075°—and delivers unequivocally accurate readings, eliminating errors introduced by human interpretation. Its intelligent control capabilities enable automatic result calculation, automatic correction of wind‑induced errors, and the storage of multiple impact‑test outcomes.
In accordance with standards such as GB/T 1843-2008 “Plastics — Determination of Charpy Impact Strength” and JBT 8761-1998 “Plastic Charpy Impact Testing Machine,” each instrument is rigorously inspected in compliance with the procedures specified in GB/T 21189-2007 “Verification of Pendulum Impact Testing Machines for Simple-Supported Beam, Cantilever Beam, and Tensile Impact Tests,” thereby ensuring product accuracy and service life.
Performance Features:
1. This unit is controlled by a microcontroller, features an LCD display with Chinese characters, offers flexible and convenient operation, and delivers high control accuracy.
2. Automatically compensates for energy losses due to friction and air resistance, eliminating the need for manual calculations.
3. Directly displays the corrected absorbed energy of the specimen, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of the test.
4. By setting the specimen dimensions, the impact strength of the specimen is automatically calculated after each impact test.
5. Upon completion of each test group, the system automatically calculates and displays the average impact energy and average impact strength for that group.
6. After each test group is completed, the test results can be saved with a single click for easy retrieval later.
7. Models equipped with a printer can print test results for easy archiving.
