Description

Product Introduction:

It is used to test the elastic recovery performance of fabrics under two loading conditions: constant force and constant elongation.

Reference standard:

ASTM D3107, ASTM D2594

Working principle:

Constant‑force method: The upper end of a specimen of specified dimensions is clamped in the upper fixture, and a weight of predetermined mass is suspended from the lower end to apply a load. After four loading cycles, the specimen’s recovery performance is evaluated.

Constant‑length method: The specimen, of a specified size, is clamped at both ends in upper and lower grips. The lower grip is then moved to stretch the specimen by a predetermined length, held for a set duration, and subsequently the specimen’s recovery behavior is measured.
