Product Introduction:

The water‑wash colorfastness tester, formally known as the wash colorfastness testing machine, is used to evaluate the wash, dry‑cleaning, and shrinkage resistance of textiles such as cotton, wool, silk, linen, and synthetic fibers. It can also be employed to assess the wash‑fastness performance of dyes. Testing procedure: A textile specimen is bonded to a specified lining fabric, immersed in a standard solution, subjected to mechanical agitation under prescribed time and temperature conditions, then rinsed and dried; finally, the degree of color change and staining is evaluated using gray scale cards.

Scope of application: This method is used for testing the wash fastness, dry‑cleaning fastness, and shrinkage resistance of textiles made from cotton, wool, silk, linen, synthetic fibers, and other materials, enabling evaluation of the dye’s wash fastness performance.
