Description
Product Introduction:
It is used to evaluate the tensile recovery performance of elastic fabrics in static testing, featuring an aerospace‑grade aluminum frame, 304 stainless steel fixtures and weights, and high‑quality imported linear guides. With its compact design and stable performance, it is an economical yet robust testing instrument ideal for manufacturers, research institutions, commercial inspection agencies, and quality‑control departments.
Reference standard:
ASTM D3107 and other standards require
Product Features:
1. It can perform both constant-load testing and constant-elongation testing.
2. Equipped with a dedicated elongation gauge for convenient marking, measurement, and calculation.
3. Each workstation is equipped with a timer to facilitate recording test durations.
4. The specimen holder is equipped with a quick‑release clamp, enabling fast and efficient specimen clamping.
5. The specimen holder base slides smoothly and is equipped with a positioning block, allowing it to be securely fixed at any point along the guide rail.
6. Both the guide rails and the specimen holder are made of high-quality aluminum alloy and undergo sandblasting and anodizing surface treatment.
7. The frame is constructed from high-quality, heavy-duty industrial aluminum profiles with exceptionally thick walls for superior strength.
8. All weights are made of SUS304 stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and preventing rust.
9. The base is equipped with adjustable casters, facilitating easy relocation and installation.
Test principle:
According to the testing principle specified in ASTM D 3107‑2007, the specimen is clamped at one end using the machine’s upper clamp, while a prescribed initial load—represented by a weight—is applied to the other end. Two marks are then made on the specimen at the lower end of the clamp. Next, the specified test weight is applied, and after allowing the specimen to equilibrate for 1 hour or the designated duration, the distance between the two marks is measured. The test weight is removed, and after 30 seconds, 1 hour, or another agreed-upon interval, the initial test weight is reapplied, followed by another measurement of the mark-to-mark distance. Finally, the specimen’s tensile elastic recovery rate (%) and residual deformation rate (%) are calculated using appropriate formulas. The specific timing, specimen length, and test‑weight parameters may be determined through mutual agreement between the customer and the laboratory.
