Product Introduction:

It is used to test the peel strength and the loss of peel strength of various hook-and-loop fasteners after a specified number of repeated peeling and bonding cycles. The hook-and-loop (Velcro) fatigue testing machine subjects the fastener to repeated peeling and re‑attaching actions; after a set number of cycles, the specimen is rolled under the weight of the roller to ensure uniform adhesion. In conjunction with a tensile testing machine, it measures the adhesive force (AS) and the peel strength (DA).

Test Objective:

Cycle Simulation:

The double‑roller mechanism is used to subject hook‑and‑loop tape specimens to repeated peel‑and‑adhere cycling, thereby simulating the fatigue behavior observed under real‑world conditions.

Uniform pressing:

After the specified number of cycles has been reached, the operator uses the roller’s own weight (or a prescribed weight) to apply uniform rolling pressure to the test specimen, ensuring that both sides of the hook‑and‑loop fastener achieve even, tight adhesion.

Strength determination:

The treated specimens are cut to standard dimensions and clamped in a tensile testing machine to accurately measure their adhesive force and bond strength, thereby evaluating their fatigue resistance.
