Description

Product Introduction:

This fixture is used to determine the mechanical puncture resistance of nonwoven fabrics to steel ball penetration and is suitable for various types of nonwoven fabrics.
Reference standards: GB/T 24218.5 “Textiles — Test methods for nonwovens — Part 5: Determination of resistance to mechanical penetration (steel ball burst method)” and ISO 3303-1:2012(E).

Scope of Use	The test for determining the mechanical puncture resistance of nonwoven fabrics to steel ball penetration is applicable to all types of nonwoven fabrics.
Fixture Specifications	The upper fixture ball head is available in three specifications: 25 mm, 25.4 mm, and 38 mm—choose the one that suits your needs. The lower fixture has a bore diameter of 45 mm, a body height of 150 mm, and is supplied with a locking wrench. Reference: GB/T 24218.5-2016, ISO 3303-1:2012(E)
Optional connector (customizable)	Optional Type A or Type B connector: A connector, shaft outer diameter 20 mm, length 30 mm (with lock nut) B‑type connector: inner bore 20 mm, depth 30 mm; pin hole diameter 10 mm, with the center of the pin hole located at the connector. End-face distance: 14.5 mm.
Remarks	When no connector is attached, the clamp body has an M12 internal thread.
