Description

Product Introduction

Manufactured in accordance with GB/T 2812-2024 and GB 2811-2019, this equipment is primarily used to test the impact‑absorption performance and puncture resistance of safety helmets. It is widely employed by specialized labor‑protection‑equipment supervision and inspection stations, construction research institutes, construction‑project quality‑inspection agencies, power‑sector organizations, and safety‑helmet manufacturers.

Host structure

1. The main body of the equipment is constructed from four 80×40 European‑standard aluminum alloy profiles, offering an aesthetically pleasing appearance while ensuring stability and reliability.

2. The protective net employs a custom-designed panel structure, with cushioning strips around the perimeter of each panel, delivering superior performance compared to a standalone mesh design.

3. The base is machined from a single piece of 45# steel, 10 mm thick, offering excellent impact resistance and enabling secure mounting of the force sensor.

4. The hammer‑head engagement mechanism employs a universal joint design to ensure that the drop‑hammer axis coincides with the sensor axis, with the hammer’s impact point located at the center of the safety helmet.

5. The make and release points can be adjusted vertically, allowing for precise height setting; moreover, the vertical adjustment mechanism ensures that the hammer remains in a horizontal position during operation.

6. Equipped with one #1 and one #2 magnesium-aluminum alloy test headform, both of which are repairable; also includes one impact hammer and one puncture cone for testing.

7. Employing a free-fall mechanism, this approach realistically simulates real-world operating conditions, eliminating the need for complex velocity compensation associated with guided‑rail or guided‑fall systems and ensuring test accuracy.

Measurement and Control System

1. The overall control system employs a PLC–touchscreen architecture, with all relevant operations performed via the touchscreen.

2. Equipped with a 5-inch touchscreen and a 400 MHz high-speed CPU, it delivers faster response times and enhanced processing capabilities, enabling accurate and rapid acquisition and analysis of force‑value data. The panel’s protection rating meets IP65 standards, and its seismic resistance reaches 10–25 Hz, ensuring reliable performance even under the impact and vibration of testing conditions.

3. The PLC uses a Mitsubishi model, featuring built-in RAM and faster operating speed.

4. Equipped with a closed-loop circuit; when the puncture needle contacts the headform, the puncture alarm will sound an audible alert.

Force measurement system

1. The dynamic force sensor utilizes a U.S.-made PCB ICP‑technology transducer, offering excellent stability, long service life, and high accuracy.

2. The PLC features a built-in force‑value data processing system that can automatically acquire, analyze, process, and display data.

3. The touchscreen automatically displays and locks the maximum dynamic force value.

4. The sensitivity of the dynamic sensor can be calibrated via touchscreen input, facilitating data management.

4. The impact height is measured using a high-precision scale, ensuring accurate and reliable data.
