Description

Product Introduction:

This instrument is used for on-site testing of the impermeability of horizontal waterproofing layers. It complies with the JGJ/T 299 Technical Specification for On-Site Testing of Building Waterproofing Works.

Technical Specifications:

1. The graduated cylinder shall be made of transparent acrylic, with a capacity of 600 mL and an inner diameter of 50 mm. It shall be equipped with scale markings, with a graduation interval of 1 mm.

2. The inner diameter of the annular base shall be 150 mm, and the outer diameter should preferably be 220 mm.

3. Plastic positioning ring: Its dimensions shall match the planar dimensions of the annular base of the seepage meter.

4. Two counterweight blocks: the mass of each counterweight block shall not be less than 5 kg.

Procedure:
1. Place the plastic positioning ring at the measurement point, and use chalk to draw lines along both the inner and outer edges of the ring, thereby defining annular zones.
2. Remove the plastic locating ring, and evenly apply the sealing material within the annular area, ensuring that no sealing material enters the inner raceway.
3. Place the infiltration meter, ensuring that its center aligns with the center of the annular area; press firmly and install the weight block.
4. After the sealing material has fully cured, fill the graduated cylinder of the permeameter with water up to the 0‑mark, and record the water level every 5 minutes until 30 minutes have elapsed.
5. At the end of the test, the water level in the permeameter’s graduated cylinder shall not drop by more than 2 mm. If the drop exceeds 2 mm, the waterproofing layer at that test point shall be deemed to have failed the impermeability test.
6. When the impermeability of the waterproofing layer at a test point fails to meet the requirements, the impermeability of the entire test area and the corresponding testing unit shall be deemed non‑compliant.
