Product Introduction:
The RP‑R18 pavement marking retroreflectometer is a portable, open‑optical‑path field instrument used to measure the retroreflective luminance coefficient of pavement markings. Unit: mcd·m. -2 ·lx -1 Its primary research feature is simulating the nighttime operation of motor vehicles on public roads: the headlamps illuminate road markings made of retroreflective materials, and the brightness observed by the driver inside the cab is measured. The key parameter assessed is the nighttime retroreflective luminance coefficient, denoted as the RL value. This instrument can measure the retroreflective luminance coefficients of road markings under three conditions: dry (R_L), wet (R_(L_wet)), and continuously rainy (R_(L_rain)). It complies with the following standards: GB/T 26377-2010 “Retroreflectometer,” GB/T 16311-2009 “Quality Requirements and Test Methods for Road Traffic Markings,” JJG (Transportation) 059-2004 “Verification Procedure for Retroreflectometers,” as well as supporting JTG F80-1-2017 “Standard for Quality Inspection and Evaluation of Highway Engineering,” DB36/T 978-2017 “Quality Requirements and Test Methods for Rain‑Night Road Traffic Reflective Markings,” and DB51/T 2429-2017 “Quality Requirements and Test Methods for Rain‑Night Highway Traffic Reflective Markings,” among others.
