Product Introduction:
The RP‑R01 handheld multi‑angle retroreflective sign tester is an instrument designed for on‑site measurement of the photometric performance (retroreflection coefficient R′) of retroreflective materials. It is a user‑friendly, portable photoelectric device that can be employed by traffic safety authorities and relevant agencies in the road, rail, and aviation sectors to conduct field measurements of retroreflective signs. It is also suitable for assessing the retroreflective performance of reflective markings on commercial vehicle bodies and for monitoring the quality of retroreflective materials during production, thereby ensuring that such materials meet the requirements stipulated in applicable standards.
Reference standard:
The instrument’s design is primarily based on the following Chinese national standards: GB/T 18833-2012 “Road Traffic Reflective Sheeting,” GB/T 26377-2010–2012 “Retroreflectometer,” GB/T 21861-2014 “Test Items and Methods for Motor Vehicle Safety Inspection,” and JJG 059-2004 “Verification Procedure for Retroreflectometers.”
