The RP‑C5 visibility meter is an instrument for measuring atmospheric visibility coefficients, with units expressed in m². The RP‑C5 features a highly precise, highly stable optoelectronic integrated design. It employs a 32‑bit master control module from STMicroelectronics and operates on a test system independently developed by the company, incorporating a high‑capacity built‑in storage unit and a high‑definition full‑color display. The device is compact, lightweight, and easy to carry for on‑site measurements. Utilizing light‑reflection technology, its accuracy is twice that of conventional measurement methods. Infrared technology further ensures robust performance by eliminating interference from visible light, thereby enhancing measurement precision. The unit is equipped with a German‑imported CO sensor, guaranteeing stable readings and high accuracy. Powered by a lithium battery, it can continuously collect data for up to 72 hours without interruption. Standard equipment includes an 8‑GB memory card, enabling users to acquire and store large volumes of data over extended periods. The instrument features a “one‑button calibration” design. Rigorous high‑ and low‑temperature testing ensures stable sampling under diverse environmental conditions. The instrument’s main body is crafted from aerospace‑grade aluminum extrusions, offering excellent structural stability and improving measurement accuracy. A heavy‑duty, specialized triangular tripod is included, making the setup both lightweight and practical for field deployment and operation. A dedicated waterproof, shockproof, and tightly sealed carrying case is also provided as standard.
