Description
Product Introduction
This machine is our factory’s latest integrated sample‑preparation equipment, combining cutting and grinding in a single unit. It features dual‑blade cutting and dual‑grinding‑wheel grinding; both saw blades and grinding wheels are mounted on separate spindles, allowing independent or synchronized control of each axis. The cutting gap is set via the PLC‑based central touch screen, with an adjustable range of 25–300 mm. After the two cutting blades are automatically positioned at the desired spacing—while the grinding wheels and blades advance and retract in sync—pressing the one‑touch start button activates the automatic operating mode. The system comprises a worktable, grinding head, cutting mechanism, PLC‑controlled speed‑regulation system, touch screen, PLC control system, safety protection system, automatic lubrication system, and a tap‑water cooling system. The machine can operate independently, performing either cutting or grinding separately, or combining both processes into a single operation. It accommodates at least two specimens with a diameter of 100 mm per clamping, and three specimens with a diameter of 50 mm. Clamping is fast and reliable, ensuring high operational efficiency. With its compact, robust design and user‑friendly controls, this equipment significantly boosts productivity. It is ideally suited for specimen preparation in testing laboratories across sectors such as highways, railways, water conservancy, education, and construction engineering.
Product Features:
1. The machine is equipped with a Delta control system, PLC‑based centralized integrated control, and one‑button start-up (with an electronic CNC handwheel). It features user‑friendly operation: for dual‑blade, dual‑grinder configurations, the system provides automatic single‑axis or dual‑axis control, enabling more precise selection of the feed position based on core sample length and fixture clamping location—unlike many competitors that simultaneously feed and retract both blades and grinders. If the specimen is not centered in the fixture, simultaneous feeding can result in one side being machined while the other remains far from the diamond tool. The spindle, all auxiliary component screws, pressure rods, moving fixtures, and worktable are constructed from stainless steel with copper bushings; this design effectively ensures long equipment life and consistent machining quality. The machine’s linear guides are imported square rails from Japan’s Koki Co., Ltd., upgraded to 304 stainless steel with a 30 mm diameter—addressing the common industry issues of cylindrical or straight optical shafts, which suffer from poor parallelism after cutting, operational inaccuracies, and shortened service life. The machine also includes an interlocked safety system: cutting stops when the door is open and resumes only when the door is closed. Pre‑programmed routines allow for the simultaneous production of multiple small beam specimens in a single run, and the pneumatic automatic clamping system enables the simultaneous cutting of three or more core samples at once.
3. The drive lead screw is an imported ball screw, ensuring cutting accuracy and extending the service life of the cutting blade (in contrast to the common practice among competitors of using standard screws with non‑uniform pitches). In the lead‑screw and linear‑guide transmission zones, a closed‑type louvered protective shield is employed to effectively prevent cutting fluids and fine debris from entering the lead screw and optical shaft, thereby avoiding operational blockages and corrosion caused by water stains. All servo drive mechanisms are designed with automatic lubrication, with oiling intervals set manually.
4. This machine is equipped with an automatic overload protection system, and its cutting‑grinding gap is hydraulically adjustable, allowing you to set the cutting‑grinding parameters as needed.
5. This machine features automatic pneumatic clamping, enabling one‑button, fully automated clamping and securing—convenient and fast, significantly reducing operator workload (requires an air compressor rated at 0.6 MPa).
6. This machine is equipped with two cooling connection options: it can be cooled by circulating tap water, by liquid nitrogen, or by automatic dry cutting (suitable for shale, mudstone, limestone, and similar materials).
Technical specifications:
| Parameter Category | Parameter content |
| Control method | The operating mode can be switched on the display, with one-touch control via the 7-inch touchscreen. |
| Diamond cutting blade | JRg60Q: Φ500×2.2×52 (double-blade) |
| Cutting range | The maximum height of the cut specimen is 170 mm, and the spacing between cut specimens is factory‑set to be adjustable from 25 to 200 mm (customizable upon customer request). It can perform dry cutting on mudstone, sandstone, as well as refractory materials such as high‑magnesium bricks and corundum bricks, with a cutting hardness rating of 9 or lower. |
