SK-261A Closed-Cup Flash Point Tester for Petroleum Products

The petroleum product flash point tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the GB/T 261 and ASTM D93 test methods. It is used to determine, under specified conditions, the lowest temperature at which the vapor of a petroleum product, when mixed with air, will ignite upon contact with a flame; this temperature is referred to as the closed-cup flash point. Colorimetric comparison is employed to establish the corresponding color number. The color number indicated by this instrument is equivalent to that specified in GB/T 6540.

Description

Product Introduction:

The petroleum product flash point tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the GB/T 261 and ASTM D93 test methods. It is used to determine, under specified conditions, the lowest temperature at which the vapor of a petroleum product, when mixed with air, will ignite upon contact with a flame; this temperature is referred to as the closed-cup flash point. Colorimetric analysis is performed for comparative purposes to establish the corresponding color number. The color numbers indicated by this instrument are equivalent to those specified in GB/T 6540.
