Product Introduction:

Instrument Composition

1. Graduated cylinder: Made of acrylic, mounted on the upper part of the instrument, with a capacity of approximately 600 mL and marked with graduations; resolution is

2 mL, with bold graduation marks at 100 mL and 500 mL.

2. Connection: The graduated cylinder is connected to the base via a stainless steel valve, which controls the start and stop of the experiment.

3. Base: The lower opening has an inner diameter of ∮150 mm and an outer diameter of ∮220 mm.

4. Support frame: Composed of vertical columns and a top plate.

5. Counterweight blocks: Four in total, each weighing approximately 2.5 kg.

6. One standard ring for measuring seepage area (hereinafter referred to as the “standard ring”), with a bottom diameter of ∮150 mm.

7. Accessories: Marker ring.

Preparation Items

1. Prepare a bucket, red ink, a broom, and other necessary items.

2. Prepare asphalt mixture specimens in accordance with Procedure T0703-93, “Method for Compacting Asphalt Mixture Specimens (Wheel‑Rolling Method).” The specimen dimensions are 30 cm × 30 cm × 5 cm. After demolding, remove the paper placed on the surface when extracting the cylindrical specimen, or select an appropriate test pavement.

3. Add a few drops of red ink to a bucket of clean water, turning the water a pale red.
