Product Introduction

This instrument can be widely used for measuring the whiteness of materials such as textiles and dyestuffs, paints and coatings, chemical and building materials, paper and cardboard, plastic products, white cement, ceramics, enamel, porcelain clay, talc powder, starch, flour, salt, detergents, cosmetics, and more. The opacity of paper can be calculated based on measured values. The device comprises a light source, an optical system, a detection system, and a data processing and display system; its overall whiteness value is expressed as the blue‑light reflectance R457.
