Product Introduction

The rheometer–temperature controller integrated unit (touchscreen model) combines viscosity measurement and precise temperature control into a single system, overcoming the limitations of conventional split‑type instruments that rely on separate components—such as a constant‑temperature water bath, a viscometer, and a small‑sample adapter.

The variation of viscosity under different conditions is highly informative for predicting a sample’s rheological behavior, and maintaining precise temperature control during viscosity measurements helps ensure the accuracy and comparability of experimental results. The instrument’s most distinctive feature is its ability to provide exact temperature regulation throughout the entire testing process; its temperature‑control system comprises semiconductor elements and an integrated, automatically optimized temperature‑program control, achieving a temperature‑control accuracy of ±0.1°C. Users can either set and monitor the temperature directly on the instrument or via optional software, offering exceptional operational flexibility.

◆ Composed of a 7-inch large touchscreen host, a small-sample adapter (SSR) with a cylindrical sample sleeve, an SC4 rotor, and a temperature controller;

◆ The LBTD 157 can display shear rate and shear stress values, enabling precise measurements at a specified shear rate.

◆ Only 2 mL to 16 mL of sample is required; the cylindrical geometry of the SC4 rotor enables highly accurate viscosity measurements.

◆ Electric lifting for precise positioning. The small-sample vial is easy to load and unload, simplifying the cleaning process.

◆ The small-sample vial, in close conjunction with the temperature controller, enables highly precise isothermal maintenance of the sample.

◆ The rotor’s stirring action, combined with the small sample volume, minimizes temperature non-uniformity and significantly shortens the equilibration time.

◆ Equipped with password‑protected temperature and viscosity correction coefficients, the instrument allows users to independently adjust these coefficients—provided they have reliable, accurate data—enabling self‑calibration.

◆ Supports continuous viscosity measurement with stepless speed control; entering any rotational speed immediately displays the full-scale range and shear rate for each rotor, making it easy for users to select appropriate test conditions.

◆ The rheometer can be programmed to generate rheological curves via simple programming.

◆ Supports external USB flash drive data storage; offers three saving modes: single-point, continuous, and timed.

◆ The remaining characteristics of the viscosity measurement system are identical to those of the rheometer.
