Structural adhesive density metal ring

This instrument is used to determine the density of sealants for architectural and civil engineering applications. The metal ring method is suitable for non‑sagging sealants, while the metal mold frame method is applicable to both non‑sagging and self‑leveling sealants. The principle involves filling a metal ring or a metal mold frame with the sealant to form a test specimen; the mass of the metal ring or mold frame together with the specimen is measured in air and in a liquid before and after filling, from which the sealant’s density is calculated.
