Description
Product Introduction:
It is applicable to a wide range of floor coverings, including textile carpets, cork panels, wood panels, rubber sheets, plastic flooring, and floor‑coating materials. The results provide insight into the flame‑resistance of the floor covering, including its substrate. This test method involves igniting a horizontally positioned sample—exposed to an inclined thermal radiation field—with a small flame inside a combustion chamber, thereby evaluating the material’s ability to propagate flames.
Product Features:
1. The entire testing process is controlled by a computer, resulting in a high degree of automation.
2. Automatic timing, display of the radiant flux curve, data processing, and saving and printing of test reports;
3. All major components are imported, ensuring safety and reliability with a long service life.
4. The control cabinet is integrated with the work chamber, ensuring simple and convenient operation.
5. The air output is equipped with a standalone permanent-magnet air compressor for continuous delivery;
6. Employs advanced, in-house developed measurement and control software for centralized control of data acquisition, processing, and analysis.
7. The top of the enclosure is equipped with a smoke exhaust system and includes pre‑installed openings for wind‑speed measurement to meet test requirements.
8. The enclosure is equipped with an observation window for monitoring purposes;
9. Thermocouples are installed inside the radiant panel test chamber and at the center of the flue; they shall be easily accessible for cleaning to ensure accurate readings.
10. The display simultaneously shows the top‑plate temperature, flue‑gas temperature, blackbody temperature, and a map of the standard radiant heat flux distribution, providing an intuitive visualization; test results can be printed as a test report.

Gas and air supply requirements:
The gas and air supplied to the radiant panel must pass through appropriately sized pressure regulators, flow control valves, safety devices, and flow meters. An adequate supply system shall meet the following requirements.
a. The flow rate of natural gas, methane, or propane shall be at least 0.1 L/s, and the pressure shall be sufficient to overcome friction losses in the supply system, including those across regulators, control valves, flow meters, radiant panels, and other components;
b. The air flow rate shall be at least 4.5 L/s, and the pressure must be sufficient to overcome friction losses in the supply system.
c. Gas and air each have separate control valves;
d. The gas supply line is equipped with a check valve and a pressure gauge;
e. A power‑controlled valve that automatically shuts off the gas supply when power is lost or when the air pressure or temperature at the igniter surface drops;
f. Provide filters and flow control valves in the air supply system;
g. At ambient temperature and pressure, natural gas, methane, or propane should be measured using a flow meter with a range of 0.1 L/s to 1.0 L/s and an accuracy of 1% or better.
h. At ambient temperature and pressure, air is suitable for flow meters with a range of 1 L/s to 10 L/s.
