Product Introduction

It is applicable to the determination of the static smoke production rate during the combustion of building materials, their products, and other materials.

Product Features:

1. Dual-control mode: operation can be managed either via the touchscreen or through a computer, with seamless switching between the two! (Users are responsible for providing their own computer and printer; the host‑computer software, router, and Ethernet cable will be supplied with the equipment.)

2. One device can be operated by multiple computers simultaneously, allowing several computers to go online at the same time and enabling LAN sharing!

3. The primary and secondary burners can rotate automatically and are accurately positioned.

4. Independently developed control software, capable of supporting various operations during testing, data logging, real-time curve plotting, and result calculations.

Technical Specifications:

1. For the specimen’s maximum smoke density (MSD) and smoke density ratio (SDR): continuous measurement from 0% to 100%, with automatic calculation;

2. The error after correction with standard filters shall not exceed 3%; each instrument is equipped with three standard filters, ensuring that the calibration data for the light source are representative.

3. Bunsen burner operating pressure: (210 ± 5) kPa;

4. The Bunsen burner applies a flame to the specimen for 4 minutes;

5. Combustion lamp: a Bunsen burner, 260 mm in length, with a nozzle diameter of 0.13 mm, positioned at a 45° angle to the smoke box;

6. Optoelectronic system: The light source is a 15 W bulb, operating at 6 V.

7. Exhaust System: This machine is equipped with a high‑capacity exhaust fan that removes waste gases to the outdoors after testing is complete.

8. Smoke density measurement range: 0–100%;

9. Smoke density measurement accuracy: ±3%;

10. Receiver: A silicon photodiode; a transmittance of 0% indicates no light passes through, while a transmittance of 100% means light passes through unimpeded.

11. Main burner operating pressure: 276 kPa (adjustable); (optional auxiliary burner)

12. Automatic timing, automatic ignition, and automatic smoke exhaust; the luminous flux can undergo staged linear calibration through trial measurements, thereby enhancing data accuracy.

13. Touchscreen:

② Resolution: 800*480

③ Communication interface: RS232, 3.3V CMOS or TTL, serial port mode

④ Storage capacity: 1 GB

⑤ Employs a pure‑hardware FPGA for display driving, with “zero” startup time—ready to run immediately upon power-up.

⑥ It adopts an M3+FPGA architecture, with the M3 handling instruction parsing and the FPGA dedicated to TFT display. All main controllers use low-power processors and automatically enter power-saving mode.
