Description
Product Introduction:
The freeness tester is a specialized instrument used to measure the drainage characteristics of pulp. Based on the inverse relationship between the pulp’s freeness and the filtration rate of its suspension, this instrument enables the assessment of fiber morphology and the evaluation of the degree of refining.
The pulp freeness tester is a standard laboratory instrument designed according to the Schopper–Riegler method, which is a conventional technique for measuring the drainage rate of diluted pulp suspensions.
Reference standard:
1. ISO 5267-1 “Pulps — Determination of Drainage Properties — Part 1: Schopper–Riegler Method”
2. Relevant provisions of GB 3332, “Method for Determining the Consistency of Pulp”
