Compliant with GB/T 50123-2019, “Standard for Geotechnical Test Methods,” this apparatus employs the stress-controlled direct shear method and is suitable for shear testing of coarse-grained soils. The instrument comprises three major components: a four‑column loading frame, a hydraulic pump station system, and a microcomputer control system. The loading frame consists of a base, support columns, a crossbeam, vertical loading hydraulic cylinders, horizontal loading hydraulic cylinders, a shear box, ball‑bearing assemblies, guide rails, and other parts.
