Product Description:
The HC-BC880 pendulum‑type penetration tester is a novel testing instrument that applies a constant force to press a test needle into the test specimen and estimates the material’s compressive strength based on the needle’s penetration depth. This device is suitable for on‑site assessment of the compressive strength of bricks and masonry mortars in sintered common brick masonry; for on‑site evaluation of the compressive strength of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks and masonry mortars in masonry structures; for field testing of the compressive strength of ordinary concrete; and for nondestructive, on‑site determination of the tangential static bending strength of wood in structural applications.
